Question for you guys and gals. I just purchased a full OME kit (OMETAC04LKS) from the guys over at Low Range Offroad, great price and customer service. Anyway, I am planning to install the kit myself and was planning to replace the top strut plates so I can just swap out the coilovers once I piece them together.

Does anyone have any experience with these top strut plates?

I contacted my local Toyota parts and they are charging $90 each, and I can pick the above ones up from Napa at about $20 each...any thoughts?

Also would I need any other parts to complete the coilover swap?

    Thanks again.

I had to replace mine when I changed my crappy rusted out spacer lift with 5100's, 885's, and TC UCA's. I couldn't find a set of aftermarket top plates ANYWHERE. Not even a junk yard would give them up. I just bit the bullet and ordered through the dealership. You might have to do the same.

I ended up finding a set of aftermarket top strut plates from Napa for about $20.00 each. I took them to the dealer to compare the two and they are exactly the same, except Toyota charges $88.00 each.

Your Napa > every part store here then. I called Napa, ABC Auto, AutoZone, Parts Plus, and Checker Auto. Every place said it was a dealership only part except Parts Plus. They said they could order them but it would take a week or two to come in.

Good job on the cheap replacement.

I ordered them at 11:30am and had them the same day at 4:30pm. If you ever need to order one, ask them to order part #904900. I believe they were about $18.-- a piece...great deal and I just installed them earlier this evening with the OME 880's and Nitrocharger Sports.
