Yea it does help a little bit on climbs it seems to take off better while its warming up, before I did it my truck was always super sluggish when warming up.

Just got a new spanner wrench from toytec and ordered some redline diff fluid for my rear diff.

Gunna have to slow down on the mods for a few months so I can afford new gears/rear locker.

Also am about to get an MRI tmrw because of this stupid nerve in my neck.. I haven't been able to work on the truck for like a week + already :(

Dang, good luck on the MRI... Nerves in the neck when pinched suck! I experienced a little bit of that after an accident.

Got the truck all nice and level in the front now.

I always do things without checking because I think I "know"... I ordered the wrong spanner wrench from toytec haha.. oh well so long as I have the bigger wrench it doesn't really matter..

Build is looking great man! Quick question that you may have already answered. If so I apologize, but are those trail gears turn signals on your front bumper? I've been pondering how I want to do my blinker relocation and that looks like an easy fix!

    Thanks bro!
Yep they are trail gear blinkers, they are alright.. You will also either need resistors or a different fuse thing to make it so they don't hyper flash.

    Or

You could just do the side light blinker relocation. If I would have known that I could do that I probably would have instead of the trail gear blinkers.

Indeed. Glad to hear the opinion of someone that already has them. I'll definitely look into the side light relocation more. I've only skimmed the AP write up. Thanks bro!

Yeah I'll chime in too.. Relocating is pretty easy and works great. Just take your time and try and use a thick sealant. The second time I did the driver side (broken tab, my fault) I used a different sealant and it sucked. Leaked into the housing a little and didn't seal all the way... Just my .02

THIS! I used lots of jb weld, then ended up laying a nice bead of silicone around that to seal them off.. Don't be afraid to use to much sealant

Just hit up firestick for a warranty on my quick disconnect hopefully they honor it.. The stupid pin that holds the two pieces of the quick disconnect popped out yesterday and fell into an abyss somewhere between the fender well and engine bay. I've only used it all of like 5 times.

Cut all the holes for the new switches.. Now the fun part run all the wiring..

Fuckin OTRAWTT must have changed something because the etching on my new switches are way more white than my old ones.. :frusty:

got my 04 exhaust manifold in last night, didn't realize I need the transmission dip stick from an 04 as well.. That will come soonish but for now I'm just going to cut the mount off.

Noticed a lot less exhaust vibrations, a little better sound, and a very little improvement in power/acceleration..

well firestik honored their warranty pretty fast, the only email i got back from them:

hey, sending you a new R-1A….

Then i got it in the mail 3 days later.

If anyone wants my old one free to pick up or just pay shipping feel free. All you would have to do is find something to fit in the hole where the old pin fell out.

Unfortunately didn't make it to mod day today, however I did get some mods done. I finished wiring my cb radio and I wired up my windshield light, all I have to do is plug all the wires into the switches. Not sure if I need to/should run a ground from my antenna. Will electricity(ground) flow through powder coat?

Here is a preview, I need a fuse to get the windshield light/bumper lights to work.

I like the one light/antenna combo.
