Thanks bro! I really want to! Not sure yet though because my lady has class on Saturdays and basically wouldn't be able to come with. But she said I could go alone so I'm pretty tempted.

All the stuff after May I will probably start attending, that's when her class ends.

    Did a few things today:
-Adjusted throttle cable @ throttle body (was about 1/4"-3/8" of slack, made a little less slack for hopefully a little better throttle response.)
-cut dipstick mount from engine wall.
    -measured intake tube so I can make one w/o resonator. (2 3/4 - 2 7/8")

Also here is a pic of my engine bay, figured since I hadn't really posted one with all the silicone vac lines and such..

Also got these in the mail today woot!

Got the AFE today and my u bolt flip, pretty impressed with the AFE. Honestly could really feel the difference. Bouta go slap this flip kit on hopefully doesn't take me more than 40 mins.

Ok so today I had a spur of the moment idea, I put gorilla tape in my intake tube to block off the resonator lol. I don't think the tape will peel off and get sucked into the engine but that would probably suck. Raised my driver side shock (hopefully not too much compression on the spring). Also did some fender well clearance cutting I think I'm good for a while until I fully flex it. Got a lot done today, I'm satisfied.

those vac lines look pretty trick man!

was wondering what type of bump stops you are using w/ your flip kit. once I box the frame, a flip kit and shock relocation will be in short order
Edit: oh I see you have Timbrens

aand I'd be wary of the tape in the intake tube haha.. just grab a pvc cap man, super cheap, easy and no potential issues. like you said a piece of tape in your engine would be baaad mmk

Thanks bro! I just got the standard timbrens from Amazon. I'm going to figure out a way to attach them to the flip plate though like the all pro ones. I'm going to replace the pin in the leaf springs (should be longer) and then I should be able to attach the bump to the rest of the thread sticking above the leaf pack.

Lol I already have a pvc cap for the other resonator, there are 2x resonators the tape is for the other one.. I drove it quite a bit last night and seemed fine. It made my exhaust pretty damn loud haha maybe I'll just take some pics of what I did.

Completely took my passenger door lock solenoid apart and cleaned the motor with some MAF cleaner. It works now finally woot!!! Tightened up the back part of the driver seat no more seat wobble! Put some memory foam from an old mattress topper in the lumbar part of the driver seat.. seems a bit more comfy, if I decide to take it out later it will only take like 5 mins. Also found out the PS belt was a bit loose and I tightened that up a bit too.

All in all good day, got a lot done. Sorry no pics lol..

    Thanks

Nice engine bay! What's going on with the top of the PS reservior? Also what sizes of silicone line did you use? I wanted to do this earlier this year when my truck was idling worse than a vapor locked Slant 6. I fixed most of my idling with a new (non clogged) muffler, but would like to replace those pesky rubber vac lines too.

Thanks bro, in my attempt to flush the PS fluid and clean the screen in the reservoir I did a bad job sealing the lid back onto the reservoir. I put some high temp gasket maker rubber on there and it sealed up pretty nicely. Better than paying 200$ for a new reservoir IMO lol.

I'll try to figure out the sizes I used tmrw and about how much length you will need. There were a few I didn't end up doing. I Hate engine vibrations lol.

Nice, lucky find.. I've replaced so much junk and haven't had much luck in locating the source. Although most of that stuff probably should have been replaced anyways..

Anyway here are the lengths/sizes I bought vs what I recommend what you actually get

I got a kit on Amazon with:
    4' of 6mm, 8mm, and 12mm
    7' of 4mm

Then I realized I needed different sizes/more and ordered these from siliconehose.com:
    1' of 10mm & 16mm
    7' of 3mm

I suggest you order everything from siliconehose.com and get:

8-9' of 3.5mm (3mm was a tad too small and 4mm was a tad too big..)

    3' of 6mm
    5-6' of 8mm
    3' of 12mm

Don't order yet I will confirm this later tonight.

Also I didn't do every single vac line, I think there were 2 or 3 that I didn't mess with.

I just realized i guess i won't be making any trips in may/beginning of june because i won't have a front diff w/ matching gears. Pretty sure ill have it before the eagle lakes trip though.

No rush, I'm in classes until 12:30 and won't be ordering for a day or two. I still don't have any trips planned :( Need to get an idea of my work schedule in summer before I can really plan anything.

Ok some of the lines looked super close in size so a little further investigation on sizes is required, hopefully will get to it by tmrw..

And it's official, rear 3rd is ordered..
