I currently have studs holding the main caps on not sure if I will keep them in there. I've gotten some things in the works. We'll see how the pan out.




Also, finally installed the last set of ARP Toyota Celica wheel studs into the passenger front wheel. All ARP'd out now.

 

I want to see this thing in action again.

 

No kidding! I just want to drive it, and feel that smooth transmission again, since the new TOB install......

That is weird. Common size. I am pretty sure that our flywheel uses the Scion tC flywheel bolts. The header to head studs are tC header studs.

Tor, hey if you get a second.. pop over in my build. uploading a video of those potential driveline problems I was having.

 

Finally bottoming up this stock engine, so I can get to work on the stroker. I should be able to get this one swapped in by this weekend.....granted everything goes smoothly....and because I said that, there will be something interesting to pop up.

Here's the latest. Swapped out the main studs for OEM bolts. As I don't have the time to cut the threads with a die, for this engine. I'll do that for the stroker.










Gave it a Brake Clean bath. That dirty whore.





Seriously, I should start investing in Brake Clean and JB Weld. ... the valve covers are also installed, and the spark plugs are in. Just waiting on a new oil pick-up to be able to install the lower oil pan. The Go Time.

Well Moose, I guess I'll need to get some Go Pro videos then...

Since the truck is back up and running like a champ, as of Monday evening. Thanks in part to my friend Jeff. Easiest transmission install yet. Was in in a matter of seconds. Feels great to drive it again. I have missed it a lot. I don't even care that it is only N/A.

The shifting with the Tilton Adjustable TOB, is simply AMAZING. The pedal is nice and soft. Absolutely love it! :adore:

I have already started the teardown of the built engine. I should have some new pictures up by tonight.

I also played on fixing the older turbo, as is was slightly scavenged to fix Clifford's turbo, and getting this kit back to 100%. Then I can possibly sell it, amd make way for the new kit with the new turbo. We'll see.

 

Forgot to add this. The is the new style strainer for the oil pump. PLASTIC......compared to the older style up above.

I had to move the oil pressure sensor from that spot, back to under the filter. As it obstructed the starter ftom being installed.

Sometime next week, I'll be heading to Kozmic to get the to change my injector profiles. So that the turbo kit with the Precision Turbo can be re-installed and finished up on some minor punch list things.
