Any of you guys know through which vendor I can purchase the King Remote Reservoir mounting brackets? Those are bolt-on correct? For the front coilovers.

 

Maybe Downsouth Motorsports? I've had great customer service from them.

Or.. try King directly

 

I think they are bolt on, but I'm not for sure. Try contacting DownSouth Motorsports. They should be able to hook you up!

 

Thanks guys. I have looked at King's website. Thought about contacting them. I know they will have them, just not sure how they would feel about just selling those parts.

Nothing hes still using his 1GR-FE in his truck hes using smaller wheels to drift I can post a couple of pictures I have so you can see it I was at the drift event with SDxrunner with the LS2 swap hitting the track while he drifted at big willows.

 

Went straight to the source. Called King up, and after a short discussion, they were ordered. Luckily for me, the representative knew to mention the fact that the have two styles. The new and the old. The mounts to the coil bucket, whereas the old mounts to the frame. The frame style is what I went with.

This will now make it easy for me to change my springs out. I have a strong feeling that they won't be here with enough time for all of the swapping around though. Before the race day that is.

I just figured out how to run the vinyl cutter. Did someone say stickers?

Received the seat bracket yesterday evening. Last piece necessary to be able to install the new bucket seat.




First order was to mount the slider. To do so, I had to cut the openings, through the leather, for the mounting holes. Cutting that plush leather purposefully, still made me cringe.




Mounted each slider individually. Then installed the spring handle.





Mounted the bracket to verify fitment. Here i ran into a hole alignment issue. No other holes, minus the bottom two, would line up. Not with the width of this seat.




Marked two ne spots on each slider. Center punched them, and drilled two new holes. Where my finger and the bolt point to.



Re-mounted everything again, after cleaning & re-applying grease to each rail. Just need to install it today. Which I am very excited to do!
