    Easy enough fix. :thumbsup: Did you also check the spark plug tube for oil there? As it could easily get down in there as well.

    So here's my tentative Performance Set up, since for now I'm trying to stay somewhat Carb legal, I'm doing the best I can...

    TRD Supercharger
    AFE Stage2 CAI Pro Dry
    Doug Thorley Short tube header
    AFE Cat back Exhaust
    URD Stealth 2.85 pulley
    URD Fuel pump upgrade (Deutschworks 255)
    Either Speedhut or AEM boost and Wideband gauges (haven't decided if I want digital or analog and/or color matched lights to the dash)

    I've been eyeballing Y-pipes, but I really don't want to delete my cat's just yet and haven't seen one that maintains cats

    All of this going on a new 2015 Tacoma 4x4 sometime at the end of the year/beginning of next year

    Any Recommendations?

    Good call. I'll pop those 3 off and see if anything mades its way down the tubes. Im surprised i didnt notice the leaky bolt before tho. I did notice that the top of the valve cover had some residue, but when i saw drips coming off the corner i figure oil just leached its way up there somehow and didnt give it much further thought.

    Finally finished reading through the whole Nevr saga! I think you deserve an award for how you've dealt with all of the misfortunes, and for your knowledge and dedication towards this project :bowdown:.

    Just trying to clarify the current status of engines, this is how I think I understand it but correct me if I'm wrong:
    -Your sleeved stroker is currently in the truck.
    -Goldylocks aka your original donor now 3rd sleeved owner is getting the deck remachined.
    -Unsleeved built engine sitting jealous it's not in a truck.

    Also I remember being mentioned the stroker didn't have the correct studs you ordered at Darton? Or was that in goldylocks (which I think was ARP)? Sorry about all the confusion.

    It's a struggle for sure, but it is a passion which keeps me going.

    You got it pretty close, but I don't blame you on the confusion. Lol.

    Alright, here goes:
    - The sleeved stroker and Goldylocks are both at the machinist's right now.
    -Goldylocks getting the deck machined, cylinders honed, and possibly stock crank fixed.
    -Lightly upgraded engine, is in the truck. In the process of being pulled to determine the cause of low compression on cylinder #2. Front driver cylinder.
    -Darton East, which is actually Justice Racing Engines(purchased the rights to use the Darton name) never ordered main studs. I found that the head studs for a 2JZ are the closest match for main studs. However, they have to have the shoulders threaded and length trimmed to fit properly.

    Those studs are at the machisnist's as well.

    Does that clear things up?

    Just dropped the transmission about 15 minutes ago, at that.

    Not really something big, minus how much a pain in the ass it was to install, but finished upgrading the last line of the clutch system. Now all of the lines are a -3AN from the clutch master cylinder to fire wall. From firewall to clutch, -4AN. I don't remember if I mentioned it a few page earlier, but I replaced the master cylinder as well, not long before the race.

    URD 2.85 stealth pulley showed up today...opened the box, pulled it out to look at it...see a 3.0 stamped on it...brain EXPLOSION - I ORDERED A 2.85 WTF IS THIS GOGDOSNENTIGGUSBWBR....oh wait...stealth...and commenced facepalming lol

    That's kind of weird. I assumed the Stealth just meant they were black rather than red so they don't stand out when you pop the hood.

    I think they are designed to look exactly like the stock pulley, so only if they bust out a micrometer will they be able to tell the difference

    Been taking my time to get to this point. No need to rush and over work myself. It's been much more stress free this time around, from taking a slow pace. Saturday and Sunday, I leisurely wrenched to pull the engine. Have to inspect #2 cylinder for the reason of its low compression. I do already know that there is a head gasket leak on that cylinder. Might be the only issue. We'll soon find out. If that is the case, then I already know 90% the reason for that.

    ^^^This is a very good picture to see where the turbo's oil feed is. Timing cover is all unbolted. Just need to remove the crank pulley. Then off with the oil pans, timing cover, and heads. I am actually excited to see the what damage has been done. Lol.

    One more thing. I also had an oil leak during the race. Wasn't 100% sure where it was coming from, but I did have a couple suspect areas. I was confimed during the tear-down though. The o-ring on the oil dip stick was split. Which is actually a notorious problem. Any time that o-ring has been heat cycled, and the dip stick is moved around, then it splits.

    The boost gasses which were blowing past the #2 cylinder, were somewhat pressurizing the crankcase, and thus blowing oil out past that o-ring.
