    Ahhh. Now i get you. Yeah. That is a possibility, but you'd need some sort of mounting solution for the TOB. Mine is adjustable, which means a lot of measurements, but do-able.

    The GM style, is non adjustable, but would still need to be mounted somehow and have some measurements taken. That style has the TOB continually riding the clutch springs, with very little spring tension. Then the hydraulics push it to release the clutch.

    I much prefer the straight actuation of mine and the GM style, to the offset actuation of the AY6.

    Any ideas on how to mount it?

    None really. I have lots of research to do yet, and since you were familiar with both transmissions I hoped you may know how straight forward it would or wouldn't be.

    I don't even know how yours is mounted. I supposed it would slide down on the snout, have a set screw or spacer flange it would rest against, then expand to release the clutch. Oversimplified, I know, but I need help filling in the blanks. Weld a flange to the snout for the TOB to rest against? Is there a keyway of sorts to keep it from spinning?

    That is actually the first TOB i purchased. Came with the McLeod Twin disk that I have. After some issues with it, and searching revealed that a lot of people have similar issues, I upgraded to the Tilton T56 TOB.

    Hey torspd kind of off topic at the moment but do you know where I can get a stainless maf block? Going to build my own intake and can't find any maf blocks.

    Other than UCON, should I be looking into any sort of MAF calibrator or some sort of piggyback tuner? I really don't want to splice into my ECU and hopefully someday URD will get a 2009+ going

    Well then it looks like you only have two choices. To splice or not to splice. Just depends on how badly you want to get that extra ~15ish hp from tuning.

    If you do splice into it, use quick disconnect splices incase you want to remove it. Good ones.

    Bah. I do not want to splice lol. Yet. Well see how I feel once everything is installed. If I really need it someday I'll get it. Wasn't sure if there was some other random thing that would be beneficial for getting a few more horses out.

    Prolly won't help with the clutch squeak though.

    Was able to swap in the XRunner leaf springs this past Sunday . They added roughly a 1/4" height to the rear. Overall, they are a tremendous improvement in handling and ride, over the original 4x4 leaf springs. I don't bottom out as easily, and the rear is much more planted and responsive.

    I still haven't added the traction bars back on yet, but in the same driving conditions with the old springs, there would have been terrible oscillating axle wrap, over bumps. Such as train tracks. With these, there has not been even one instance anywhere.

    Rob and I also calculated and shimmed the pinion angle. I had been dealing with a rear end oscillation and had tried nearly everything. In the back of my mind I was down to it being the axle need in to be shimmed. Then I saw a video posted by Kozmic Motorsports on Facebook. After watching it, it was instantly apparent this was my issue.

    We had to adjust the rear of the axle up by 3/16". This is quite literally the best my truck has driven since all of the custom drop had begun.

    The off angle must have created enough tension that 6 gear couldn't be used until a minimum of 80 mph. Now I can cruise at 60 without transmission vibrations and in 6th gear.
