    I was wondering the same thing. Why didn't you get the race one? Is the short one more stable?

    Goldylocks has stock stroke, so no. :(

    I like to call it the "budget build engine," compared to all of the bells and whistles of the stroker engine.

    Didn't want it to be to obtrusive whenever I use the tailgate. That's the only reason. We'll see how this size works.

    Monitarily, I am happy that I don't have to buy new pistons for the stroker engine as well. Had they been damaged, and needed a fresh start, you be damn sure that they would have been ordered for an overbore size!

    Since the stroker pistons cannot be used in the non stroker engine, there was no reason to waste those good pistons. So only one new set of pistons were ordered.

    That engine, like Goldylocks, is waiting on the crank to be finished. So they can reassemble, check and verify clearances, then disassemble and ship out to WPC in California.

    I believe the piston is 3.708. Not exactly sure any more.

    Price for quality. Price for forged. If I weren't in need of cistom widths, I'd jump all over these. The custom Forgeline wheels are around $2k each. :eek:

    I would think you would sheer the lug studs before you would damage a wheel. Mine handle my fat rig landing on them better than my frame handles it.

    Have you done the big 3 upgrade yet? Try that before the larger alternator if you are thinking of going that route. Unless you have additional amps, then you may need the alternator as well.

    I thing BamaToy has a kit, but I made my own with knukonceptz wire and my own crimp connectors. Replaced alt to battery, alt to fuse box and battery to starter. As well as beefing up engine block to chassis and grounding the alternator to chassis.
