^^^cosign that myself. SPEC makes great clutches/flwywheels, and my experience with ACT(in my STi) has been nothing short of great as well. I will NEVER buy Comp Clutch ever again. Friend a Stage 3 years ago in his Subie that was just terrible in all aspects.

URD Stage 2 in my truck is flawless, and wasn't a big hit on the wallet.

Yea I liked being able to fully customize the cage how I wanted it. In retrospect though i might have gone with white faces, i ordered becaude my 2011 had black gauge cluster faces, i forgot they added the white band on the clusters

 

I had a Spec Stage 3+ , with the OEM trans and T56. Held over it's torque rating of 550 ft-lbs, without a hint of slip. I was making 575 wtq. Only issue was it took close to 3k miles to "break-in" for that smooth and quiet engagement. Damn strong clutch.

Swapped in a used Spec Clutch 6 puck, which honestly should have been thrown away, back into the car which had pulled it to replace it with a new one. The new one shipped was somehow the wrong disk, either for a different car or just a hair to large on its diameter. So the old used one literally HAD to go back in.

This was hours before the Texas Lonestar Drift Event. Into Will Parsons' S2000 swapped (2.0L. Brainfart on engine code) AE86. We rushed to get it in, while @Lucario Runner was transporting race cars to the track. Bled the clutch by the time he returned. Will, by this time had already been up for over 24 hours and had no time to sleep, nor by the time we got to the track did he have time to shakedown the car.

Not only did he qualify, but he also took first place, on that severely worn clutch.

It has my vote.

Dude, your build is absolutely unreal! Enjoyed the read so far.

I just know that you'll start modding that bmw too. In addition to what you've already done to the bimmer, be sure to flush the brake fluid. If not done already, replace the entire cooling system too, which is a weak point in almost all bmw's.

 

Already have a substantial wish list on Turner Motorsports website.

Engine oil changed. Brake fluid and clutch systems flushed.

Brake pads and rotors are "new".

The metal water pump is first on the list of upgrades. Aside from the replacement hood struts. Since these are worn out..pain in the ass.....
