    His were more N/A oriented. Mine are turbo oriented. Mine will work with either, his will be best for N/A and S/C.

    Here are the specs of my camshafts, for a point of reference:

    Kelford Camshafts Stage 2 Turbo cams.

    Total duration 265 intake, 270 exhaust.
    Duration at 1mm valve lift, 225 inlet, 231 exhaust.
    Total valve lift with lash set, 10.55mm inlet, 10.75mm exhaust.

    If I remember the conversation correctly, the OEM total durations are 232 intake, and 236 exhaust.

    What specs that I have of his are:

    256/248 with a 9.65mm lift.
    Intake at 10.16mm exhaust at 9.7mm

    It won't need a tune. A tune will definitely help optimize the beast as a whole. If you were to have enough additional mods, in supplement, and the engine output was exceeding the injector duty cycle, then definitely a tune would be recommended.

    Oh yeah. Super old picture. I ended up literally giving those wheels away. To my neighbor. As I couldn't find a buyer and didn't want to scrap them.

    Still there. Fortunately, I am not worried or in a rush. The joys of having three vehicles. Who knows. With any luck, I'll get it back just in time to swap in the stroker engine....Wouldn't that be something?

    Why would his be better than yours in a S/C application? I'm not terribly knowledgeable on cam specs, so I'm just curious as to why you say that.

    N/A cams have intake and exhaust overlap. Where their lobe separation angles overlap to allow intake and exhaust ports to be open, at the same time, for a small amount of time. Varying on what their LSA is. It could be more or less. This allows intake air to be used to push out exhaust gasses. Improved cylinder scavenging, effectively.

    On a turbo setup, their can be a lot of increased pressure built up between the cylinder head and the turbine housing's inlet. There is a potential for that to blow back into the intake, if the LSA's overlap. Therefore, in most case scenarios, turbo cams don't overlap intake and exhaust opening events.

    The only one that I might have, would be on the back side of my cams, as I never received a part number.

    Or you contact Kelford, and ask them if they have a part number for a set. Mine require quite a bit of head work. Including aftermarket valves.
