    Better post up some video of your races then! Or be banned from this thread. :p

    There was one earlier this year, but with a boost related head gasket leak, I could only do a few laps. To be honest, I call it a race. It is more like Time Attack with multiple cars on the track. Effectively a track day. Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Classes. Get to see people with exotic cars actually use them. Which I prefer to just seeing them put around.

    Track days are a blast. How much time do you get? I know the bike days I went to were 20 minutes sessions every hour of the 8 hour day.

    We get between 4 to 5 20 minute sessions. Which is strangly very tiring.......

    Reminded me of lacing up my old Chuck's for sure. Haven't had the chance to test it in the heat of the day yet, due to long hours.

    I do know that tube would get quite hot before though. Also need a better intercooler.

    Hey Tor, few weekends ago at the sand drags, while waiting in line, the truck for the first time ever started to get hot. had to crank the heater in 100+ degree heat. any recommendations? was thinking of just adding an E fan on a separate switch.. but maybe something else?

    Yeah, so did I. I went against everyone's advice and ordered them from their website. If you do, be prepared to lose your money. I'm hoping another vendor...cough...URD...cough...picks up the torch and comes up with a better offering.

    With the time frame leading up to the race, and my work schedule, I took ease of installation for time savings, over looks.

    I'd much rather have the PTP adhesive thermal barrier. This will have to do though.

    How hot is "hot"? Were you able to see the coolant temp?

    Wrapping headers will help reduce engine bay heat and as a byproduct thermal transfer to coolant temp. I high cfm fan, or pair of high cfm fans will also help draw more heat out of the radiator.

    Since my Ron Davis Radiator is no good, and I have the fans just sitting in my garage, I have been thinking about mounting them to the factory shroud. They would flow far more than the OEM fan.

    Re-attaching my larger custom oil cooler actually helped to reduce my coolant temps as well. Where it was in the 200 to 210's, during 100 degree weather, It now doesn't get above 204 in the worst-case scenario.

    Hmm so should I wrap my shorties before getting them installed?

    I've considered a dual electric fan setup a couple times just to keep them on full blast when In traffic or super hot days.
