    Also something to be said for choosing lower weight wheel/tire setups. If you have tires over 33" and you're concerned about stopping the weight difference can have a dramatic effect on setups of this size, since it's rotational weight at a large diameter... basically a long weighted lever.

    You almost always have to go directly through Rotora. They basically have all of their stuff as proprietary. Including pads. None of which Relatively cheap. You have no choice but their prices.

    Example. Noticed one of my brackets for the caliper had a crack in it. They wanted ~$300 for the pair. Only sold as a pair. Pff. Could have a set machined for cheaper.

    Hmm, that crack alone has turned me off to the brand... Does not sound well engineered. I would be shocked if the Stoptech's crack.

    What sucks is Rotora was the only company making a BBK for the rear. I have some ideas as to how this could be accomplished though.

    Ah, well that can do it... Torque specs on the Stoptech are also rather low... 60ft-lbs IIRC.

    Definitely can. That is the bracket which bolts to the bottom of the caliper and then to the steering knuckle. The crack is that the face which mates to the bottom of the caliper. It came preassembled from Rotorua. However upon installation the bracket was not the proper measurement and did not let the caliper sit centered over the rotor with the wheel bolt it up which then also created another problem. So I had to email back and forth with rotary as well as talk to them on the phone and they shipped out new brackets for free. The ones cracked or the new brackets because they never send a torque spec. It is my fault for not looking up the torque spec for asking them about that at the time. I just made it tight.

    Oh man that sounds like a terrible experience. The stoptech ones were literally as simple as bolting them on and bleeding the brakes. Definitely very happy with them although I would definitely be interested in finding different pads next time.
