    Okay literally I've spent the last 3+ hrs going through all 31 pages of your build thread and, WOW. At first I was like :boom:"OMG he's having such fails and wasting his money and time fixing soo much shit". But then things mellowed out for a bit then the motor problems. You sir I :bowdown: for your struggles and keeping your passion firm and strong. I'm going to enjoy where this goes even further. Funny thing is though I attended a machining school over 6 years ago. I was using the "top of the line" boring and honing equipment from Sunnen and the ones posted with the cylinder graph weren't released yet.

    excelent smithers. finished reading all 31 tonite on my lunch break. literally stood up and started a slow clap untill coworkers joined me. pure inspiration. that truck is soo pissed off haha. this whole boring to a 4.3 l buiness sounds rad. ive seen dudes dropping 4.0's in their 1 gens, so maybe a 4.3 would be in my future idk. a great read though, definetly subscribing. keep that shit up man. tacomas of all years look up to that beast

    Definitely some inspirational comments there! Thank you very much. I tell you, at times it is down right pure aggravation. Like just recently when the main bearing fell out. Made me feel like taking a hammer to that block. So instead I graciously tossed the bearing around the garage a few time. Lol. This definitely isn't a build that has everything go right. But it is the whole story, which gives it more depth in my opinion. I am no one special, but just another man trying to build a truck. And at least have some fun times and meet some cool people along the way.

    That Dude Tim- when I watched those HPF YouTube videos, I thought, "Now that is a good machine." From the screen, to the bristles that knock off the microscopic edges after being honed, so that the piston rings don't have to. Cleaner, and better first time seal.

    Stumpjumper - That would have been really cool, and possibly funny to see all of the co-workers join in with you. ;) Got some good stuff in the works, no doubt. It won't be long until I can do base dyno's between my spare engine with stock compression, and my stroker engine with its 9.0:1 compression. Both in N/A trim.

    I am really curious of the gains. Then onto new turbo, injectors and tune. Not sure if it will be ready for TX2K13, but if not, it won't be long until some good GoPro road course vids will be had. :D

    In this picture, if I remember correctly, there is a screw that threads into a plastic clip on the sub frame.

    I removed the both, then learned that by sheer luck, the threads of the red latch, perfectly fit into the square hole where the plastic clip used to be. So then I was able to spin it down until I had the proper height adjusted.

    If they have, their haven't been many to do so. Even up to the 630whp that one twin turbo XR has made.

    Not so say that it isn't necessary by any means though. ProEFI has high output coilpacks. As far as their compatability though, I am not yet sure. And needs to be discussed when the time for tuning comes around.

    Updates: Cometic head gaskets are in as well as ARP head studs for the spare engine. Rotating assembly is also installed. Waiting on the ARP Ultra Torque lube to arrive.

    Spoke with Darton on Monday. They were finishing up on a Volvo engine this week, then dedicating to my engine next. I do have to order a new set of head gaskets for them though. They told me that they have s specific gasket bore to cylinder bore size. So effectively I need to get in contact with Cometic to have them make the gaskets with a 94.5mm bore. Basically 5mm over the bore of the cylinders.

    I talked with McLeod Racing yesterday. Waiting to hear back from them today on the status of my twin disk clutch.
