TORSPD: NEVR

Ok so up next, two birds, pull headers, install motor mounts, have someone swap over cats to DT headers, install headers. My off days are pretty much full now babysitting my 2 year old while the wife has a 3 week old on her chest lol. So my viable truck mod time is about 1pm to 3pm and after 8PM when the 2 year old goes to bed. Ahhhh Parenthood.

 

And still we find the time.

Thought about low key having a go pro running when I went back to complain about my problem. I got the "I've been doing this for 40 years" speech. K, just because you've been doing it for 40 years, doesn't mean you've been doing it rightm. Case in point, my $2000 diff is fucked.

 

Someone said small claims, but it's not worth the $600 I've paid him in labor since I bought all the parts separate

How do u get ur 2 yo to go to bed at 8? I have a 3 year old that see 10 pm almost everynight and sometimes 11

 

Not to derail the thread but my nine and 12-year-old have to be in bed by 9 PM during the school year

 

Well, because we made bedtime a thing. Wife or I does bedtime every night. It was 7, then 730, now it's 8, and he mostly stays in his crib quietly until 8. Really, he chills in his crib after bedtime some nights until like 9 before falling asleep. But we've got him trained pretty well with a 1245PM naptime (until usually 3-4) and then 745-8PM bedtime. That's also just when he's getting cranky.

I don't know what time you're getting your kid up or nap schedules, but I do know if you don't keep him active all day, he'll sleep like shit. So we always have outside time and run around the yard with the dog, or go ride in Dad's truck and see some stuff. The days I'm lazy and we just sit in the house and watch some TV, he naps like shit and then sleeps like shit and I don't get a mid day break and the following morning I'm up at like 630 or 7 with him, instead of 8 like today lol

 

Also, be the adult lol. When you say it's bedtime, it's bedtime. I'll let him waffle around for 5-10 minutes if it's like 745. But some days hes cranky AF and I'm tired and I'm like "hey it's bedtime" and he complains for about 2 seconds after I close the door then he just lays down in his crib and chills usually.

Currently dicking with my brakes again, my hard line flare kept leaking so I replaced the MC to ABS hard lines with PVC coated speedflex lines. Also, I never updated my progress on the wiring harness, it's all done now.

 

Oh damn. Good deal man. Need to have a get together one of these days. Get some members and whatnot.
