    I agree, but the cynic in me knows that this is impossible due to the litigiousness of this country. Original manufacturer would be sued regardless of the waivers signed, and even if they prevailed outright, the cost would be prohibitive and a PR nightmare.

    I'm still toying with the idea of swapping out the povertycharged Tacoma's 1GRE for a LS motor. Haven't seen a lot of information regarding that though, so the idea of having to break new ground is discouraging (for the foreseeable future, anyway).

    If the turbo works, then use it. If not nothing a new flange, a Titanium Aluminide Borg Warner EFR can't, and a welder can't fix. :D

    The most troublesome part of the ls swap is the motor mounts, trans mount, radiator with correct ports, and new drive shaft. Everything else is simple, a lot of the newer crate engines come with the wiring harness and ecu.

    Yeah. It's tight as fuck. He was having some clutch issues earlier this year, and we thought it might have been the slave. We would have had to drop the engine out the bottom to do it. Luckily, it was his master.
