    You have to have a setting checked, to keep you in the dark man. Have to. Where are you looking for notifications? Email, text, or just here? I cannot stop the emails. Ugh. I only check here for the notifications though.

    Bimmer is in the midst of getting repaired. So I can wheelie stand it. Already have a few parts on the way. The weekend was just too busy spending time with family and friends to be able to spend any time on it.

    Plus, I wanted to try my hand at some fabrication. :D

    On the way back from Dallas, I even did a little road tuning. Individual cylinder timing trims. Engine is happy.

    Hey how the heck do I figure the rear axle code on a second gen?
    I think it's A40A but I'm not sure if that's even the right code... I'm pretty sure it has an LSD...

    Pre Runner, of your model, should very likely have an LSD. If it does, there will be a sticker on the pumpkin.

    You can use the thread he^^^^ rumored, or call Parts at Toyota with you VIN.

    But it only apllies to first gens, cause according to that chart I have a 7.5" rear, 2-pin open and 4.56's lol and Im pretty sure the 7.5 only came in front diffs

    That chart is 100% correct for 95.5-04 and I believe correct for gen 2 as well. Make sure you’re reading the right code on your door jam

    I think the xrunners had taller and the 4x4 4 bangers came with 4.10 and I also think the 5 lugger 2.7s came with like a 3.33 or something about the same as the xrunners what ever that works out to.

    Yeah, my 99 has a code of B03A - 8" -4.10's and 2-pin open
    I seriously doubt this thing has 4.56's and Im pretty sure that chart is only for first gens.
    I did do a burnout on the way home the other day and it left an 11 instead of a 1 sooooo either the wheels switched during the burnout or it has an LSD. I'll just jack it up and check later.

    Oh and I couldn't find a sticker anywhere on the axle

    X-Runners came with a 3.15. 3.73 was an upgrade for some.

    3.73, and mechanical LSD. '05-'08 had those. '09 went to simulated lsd.

    well it looks like the xrunner came with 3.15 auto 5 luggers 4cyl have 3.58 and manual have 3.31



    also it looks like tor beat me to part of that

    Unfortunately no. This one is a designated daily...although I may have to sneak some mods in here and there. I think I may swap the bumper, grille, headlights and hood to the 2014 model stuff and get a hood scoop while im at it.

    On a side note. Apparently the A750e lets you redline the truck when manually shifting. The A340e will upshift for you. Pretty neat I guess.
