Been thinking about that a lot today. Had to head straight to work from C&C. Today was the first time that I took it out further than the neighborhood. The short spurts near the house didn't fully give me an understanding of its mannerisms. I really like how it feels. How it sounds is counter to expected.

Faster is synonymous with louder. Except mine seems to plateau. Which messes with my mind, but gives me some pride simultaneously. Akin to a sleeper, I suppose.

When the stroker engine had to be repaired, a lot of other things came up as well. Too much for this forum. It also opened up the opportunity to broaden skills which parallel the modding field. Liberated.

That desire is like the fabric of space, continually stretching away. I still have hopes, but getting to this point with a quality ecu for a great tune, and flawless drive-ability is currently rewarding enough right now. Just to enjoy the truck for what it is. For the time being.

Actually I was thinking more about the mechanics behind it... with the T-56 would it be possible to mount the manual trans FJ case and front diff?
Also would a t-case like that be able to handle the HP you’re pushing?

The thought of a “typhoon like” Tacoma is quite intriguing.

 

It is very much like the "Syborg". T-56 Magnum with a Borg Warner AWD tranfer-case. Front diff would have to go back in, but front coilovers would have to be relocated a little back to clear the cv shafts. It would work without a hitch, and be scary fun!

Rated for ~800whp. Not exactly sure how much torque. Hopefully near the same.

 

What does your data logs say? Maybe you’re used to driving with higher boost levels and just need to turn it up

 

I love food halls. We have one near my house called Legacy West. Great concept. I’ve been to another one in Atlanta, but the name escapes me. I’d almost crash your party, but it’s my wife’s office party.
