    I believe that to be Rich's. Otherwise known as Armyofsquirrels. He was kind enough to host them for their first evening in town. As well as lead them out to Matagorda.

    Almost dyno time. Woot. Not for anything spectacular, but still I am quite curious.

    Log style OEM headers, OEM Y, intercooled Hot air intake, and no catback. Any guesses?

    The first run was in 3rd gear. Second run was in 4th. If you look to the top right, you can see the overall calculated gearing.

    Alright. Spoke with Darton this morning. Head work has been completed to accommodate the oversized valves.

    Currently they are waiting for a response from Kelford on the cams grinds. He informed me that he is 100% confident that they will be getting a set. For those in the know, that comment has more meaning.

    If they don't hear anything by the evening, then they will be sending an new follow-up email in the morning. As they have a few engines which are waiting for responses on.

    Specs on ARP main studs - didn't have to drill and re-tap the OEM hole to accommodate a set of studs. Customization of ARP hardware was required though. After a brief discussion on the topic, he has the specs to sell ARP Main Stud kits for the 1GR. So if you want some you need to contact Jim at Darton East. :thumbsup:

    Put in an order with for something really :cool: yesterday. Was told it has a three week lead time, so I will post up pictures when it arrives. Will help keep things in the proper range for the power that I am shooting for.

    I see what you did there. o_O I certainly appreciate the compliments fine sir! :cheers: Pretty neat the time shift, when you think about it. Over 4 years of building and refining, and only 4 days to read it all. ;) Basically a large portion of my after work life, condensed into a story. You could almost call it, "The Never-ending Story" :drevil:
    On a serious note though, feel free to ask questions, and I will help as best I can.

    They are still in the boxes actually. But I can promise you that these QA1's are terribly shot. I have oil spray all over the inner fender as well as down the coilovers themselves. Lol. The delay was due to thinking I needed to send one back to have them re-clock the banjo fitting for the remote reservoir, on one of them. Discussed it with them and came up with a simple plan. Going to try it tonight.

    Then next reason, is that I don't have a good way to secure the remote reservoir to the frame. I need something like what Fox or King shocks come with. So thinking about stopping by 4wheelparts and see if they have anything in stock. Then lastly I just need to drill out the top mount for a 14mm bolt.

    The bearings on the Ohlins are 14mm top and bottom. So they use the factory LCA bolt in both places.

    Between drill and frame mount, that is now the hold up. Any possible ideas on the frame mount?
