    Still going to be a while on the dyno, since this is the stock engine. Sadly. However, this is the perfect time for me to get all of these punch list items knocked out, prior to it arriving. Sure as making any adjustments to the turbo exhaust routing (if necessary), and having the Watergate moved and its dump tube routed back into the down pipe.

    Nope. I have all of the exhaust components already. It is just bolt up and run oil and coolant lines.

    So I have had the turbo one for a little over a week. First impression, holy fawk I missed boost! Second impression, I can go faster at 35% throttle than I could at 100% throttle while N/A. Muwahahaha.

    Spools up so quickly due to the all of the factors at play in this turbo's design. Spools more quickly than my smaller Precision 6265 Turbo, which has a much smaller turbine A/R (.68 compared to the Borg's 1.05) but is also journal bearing.

    New rear tires are in order. These just spin everywhere.....

    Recently, I noticed that the e-brake wasn't working like it used to. Took the drum off to inspect, and found the reason. Axle seal let go.

    Oh dude. The sound is audible ecstasy! Then the wastegate opens and the demon comes alive. To bad I can't go WOT yet.

    Thinking the Nitto NT05's. For the track. Something with around a 200 treadwear count.

    Not just yet. Still need a few things done first. One of those, is buying the new injectors.

    Dropping the truck off on Monday, at D3 Performance Engineering, and having them update the Pro128, map out the throttle body, as well as program in the new injector size.

    Then once I have those in, I can get it dyno'd. Will be keeping it at ~6 psi since this turbo flows so much more air than my last turbo. At least until the built engine arrives. ;) Then it is Game On!

    If you noticed, there is no hood attached. Won't close. Lol

    Ha. Yeah. Seems that way doesn't it. Not wasting any more time though. Rockin' and Rollin' regardless of the hypothetical built engine return. Trying to get things finished up before MSR Houston's next event in March. Already scheduled to have the radiator installed next week. While also waiting to scheduled the fabrication necessary to lower the turbo. Lucario Runner was there with me when I went to D3. Between us, we believe they don't know how well this engine will perform, when it comes to power output and this turbo. They will be surprised.

    I am not sure. I do know that the 350Z's had the tendency to go at 18 psi. So I have based my plans around that. That is why I originally had the aluminum intake manifold made. We'll see how well my setup performs when redone, and then with the built engine. That will give guidance on which steps to take to get to my power goals. Both engines will be dyno'd at the same psi, for base line.

    so what are your plans for the hood? cut up some carbon, hood spacers, rebuild the turbo mount and piping???
