TORSPD: NEVR

I've always been told that torque numbers on dyno's can differ due to all the reductions from the engine like the gearbox, diff and wheel diameter. So they are not really the true engine torque. The torque number should be just used as a comparison between different runs, like a before and after run. Not sure if its true or not I don't honestly know how dynos calculate power and torque.

Off boost its drive like a factory one. When you nail it boost starts to come on around 2500rpm and is all in by 3000rpm that's when it really starts to pull. However if feels pretty flat up top. Like something is restricting the flow. Possibly the ACIS switch point, I haven't really played with that yet. Do you know when your switch points are for the ACIS Valve. It could also be my exhaust manifold design too. The flow may be becoming choked. Although looking at your dyno curves they seem to flatten out around the 4000rpm mark too. It might be to do with the standard cams? What are your thoughts?

My basic set up is a Garrett 35/40 45mm external gate, I'm running around 8 to 9 psi. 80lb vdo injectors. Garrett intercooler core with custom end tanks. 3 inch exhaust.

At its largest sections, yes. it also has reductions, and flat spots.

Jesus those are some monster fucking fans. So whats the deal with the 4wd? Last I heard word on the street you were trying to figure out a way to make it work as AWD. Is that rumor true. Or if you already covered it can you direct me to the post number that you answer this?

Basically, it has already be done. By the owner of a specific GMC Syclone, nicknamed the "Syborg". Speed Hunters did two articles on it. He had Rockland Standard Gear make a custom adapter to mount a Borg Warner AWD transfer case to the T56 Magnum. KP Racing, whom recently rebuilt my transmission, also said they could make it happen. Then there is BRAVE Motorsports, here in Houston like KP, with is another worthy option.
