To much preload action going on here. Is this with the truck drooped out or on the floor?

that spacer looks like its on top of the coilover if so , its not preloading the spring, its simple pushing the lca down to obtain the lift. that's why the angle looks like shit

So basically get rid of the spacer and get an actual coil lift?

Keep in mind since you have a 4 banger, you will get a little more lift than advertised with most springs since the truck is lighter up front

I was looking at the toytec coils as well, did you use the oem strut mounts or aftermarket?

the ones I purchased are the preassembled units that use toytec coilovers on Bilstein 5100"s set on the zero setting. just remove your old and install the new complete coilover

thanks. I think the ride personally is just right. just enough stiffness for the trails and I like the way they feel on the street.

A 3" lift from a spacer and a 3" lift from a coil are going to have the same exact ball joint angle as seen in the picture (truck on the ground)...

What do you think would make that angle better?

Actually they do not. The Toytec coil over is just slightly longer than a factory coilovers. When my truck is on the ground the uca is almost level. The angle not even close to the pic he showed of the uniball.

So the toytec coils should do the trick?

He’s a good pic. Maybe it little hard to tell. Granted I’m using jba uca’s (dirty at the moment) they use a ball joint that has better articulation than thenuniball
