yah, i was in a rush after the shoot was done, grabbed a 25 pound lighting stands case with one hand and swung it into the bed of my truck... i shoulda used both hands and loaded it up, but thought i was He-Man or something...

i didn't let go of the case in time, and the momentum of the case pulled my arm with it... didn't think anything of it at the time, but the next day, i was in tears...

my doctor said it was an idiot move... hahaha....

well, for a pic leading up to Mayhem...

most folks don't realize that Hassim and his family have been working down in Baja for the past couple years for a race team sponsored by Lowrance... Baja is not virgin territory for the team as they have been chasing and pitting for other teams this whole time...

im glad to see them step up to racing this time...

Best of luck down there, guys! Take lots of pictures, stay safe, soak up the atmosphere, and try not to let the stress get to you.

Finances are keeping me out of racing this year but I hope to run against you next year in SCORE Sportsman!

I'll follow your progress on IRC (http://www.racetheworld.net/ircstore/ for those that don't know) and will be pulling for ya!

thanks Mike... you should run the 1000 so our whole team has passports by then and we can give you pit support too!!!

so, i just got home from the shop and saw the SCORE tag... OMG, all that trouble for a little metal ring? CRAZY... hahahah

and i can see why there are stories about crazy inspection process... the guys almost got dinged for having 2 back seats... they had to rip the back seats out... so bizarre to me...
