I do pit support for a 5/16 and a 1450 I'm currently in the slow stages of acquiring/building an 11 car. My truck needs too much work to make it race ready (cage and safety gear ect.) and to me isn't worth the money. I like off road racing and all but I don't like it enough to devote every penny into it. So i think the 11 is a better choice plus its a neat class and all of the guys are really nice.

 

The 11 class is awesome! Spare parts are a lot cheaper as well. Still a lot of money to devote though.

The reason why I was giving you tips on Sponsorship is because I love business and know how they work and how/why they give out money to people. Its a problem with a lot of the smaller teams and even shops that they do not know how to promote themselves. They may be able to build something rad or be the best driver to walk the earth but if you don't know how to sell yourself to people you will never go big time. (This can be related to anything not just racing)

Yeah 11s are bitchin' and if we got a 65 or older I can drive it on the street here in az! street legal race car lol

no, there is one that we can buy now though. but we still couldn't race it until next season because it needs a cage and that crap. its just the bug and the motor for like $700
