Anyone ever get a little bottle of touch up paint from Toyota? Just wondering how much they're going to stiff me for at the dealership....

Found a tiny chip on the edge of my rear door - all the way to the metal. I want to get it covered ASAP since I live by the ocean and know that rust takes quickly here. Any thoughts on prepping the chip? Or just get some touch up on it asap?

You should have got a free bottle with the purchase of your vehicle. I got one with my 2007 Taco.

Ah, it ended up being $7.99 at the nearest dealership... cheaper than the 30 mile drive to El Monte to get it free!

Didn't get mine free...had to pay for it at the dealership, but it was only like $7.00 or so. As far as rust, galvanized steel won't rust too easily, but you need to make sure that the shipped area is clean and dry before you use the touch up paint on it. And if your truck is silver, it's really hard to make it look good...

None currently, but I would like a better sounding exhaust and perhaps a cold air pack and some color coded step bars
Same here, no free touch up, probably will go to an automotive supply store and get a half pint of the proper color unless I can con the dealer out of it.
You might want to find a small bit of clear to put over the base color too.
