    In Canada, can you purchase the 6500 tow package without upgrading to TRD?

    You can purchase the individual components that allow for the higher towing capiacity. Hitch, wiring, transmission cooler (at only) and upgraded suspension, but gettin the trd package is cheaper in the end i think. IF you plan on towing a lot get the trd. Of course the v6 non trd is rated for 5000lbs with an added hitch so if your only towing a light trailer for short distances it may not be worth upgrading anyways.
