    Because its not needed and the testing involved in a CDL is a PITA. Eventually I will likely step up into needing a CDL when I move to a "legit" tow rig, but for now, its not going to happen.

    my dad's DD, 2001 F350 dually 7.3 5 speed with granny gear, CAI straight pipe exhaust from Bully Dog.
    they pull anything you want them to practically. also this truck pulls a 3 car 5th wheel trailer loaded with 3 full size trucks to cars.

    That would be a 6spd ZF6 in a 2001. I love duallies for towing.
