I am searching for a towing hitch for my 04 dblcb 4x4 tacoma, yes I have searched, and without extensively and diligently searching, I cannot find anything.
If anyone could tell me what hitch they have, ect, that would be most helpful.

I have a 2" Curt on my '03. They had the best price back when I bought it off eBay if I remember correctly. Mine is a 4WD extra cab, but I don't think that makes any difference.

STL, MO. I see you're in Cali. That'd probably be fussy to ship. Thank you for the offer! What brand/model is it though?

Would you happen to know the model #? I do like Curt brand.

Same as firstGen jer. I have one sitting on my garage floor since I changed bumpers.
    Where you be?

We posted at the same time. StLuMo would cost a lot on shipping. Likely you would be better off cost wise to buy straight from the dealer.

Myself when installing a Hitch or changing one I always install new bolts .

There coming out so why not.

Just install all the bolts before you tighten them

Watch the Universal ones they can be interesting for sure .

Nope everything just fit back together, some parts needed a little help from a hammer, but when properly motivated things lined back up

I got one tab in with the help of a hammer, but there was no way the second one was fitting in haha. Maybe because I have a new frame? Oh well, the tabs are for downward strength anyways, and now that I have a trailer hitch receiver it doesn't matter

I have a used Reese Tow hitch that is the same as the one in the picture, that I no longer use since I put brand new bumpers & sliders on. But I live in California also. Sorry @blairrad

I put a Hidden Hitch on mine recently...
Works great, bolted right up for a good price on Amazon.

A good question might be just what are you planning to drag around .

Over the years I have installed all the major brands on different vehicles .

The only real problems where when someone showed up with a universal hitch said to fit every thing but the vehicle your trying to install it on
