I love the way my Pelfreybilt bumper looks, too bad they're not around anymore. :facepalm:so I cannot ask them this directly...

A hidden hitch is where its at, but I do tow a travel trailer now and use the built in hitch a lot.

While wheeling years ago, I broke the stock harness connector off. I replaced it, but the aftermarket connector's bolt holes don't line up to the holes on the bumper to mount it, sooo it just dangles and gets caught up behind the license plate.

Does anyone know if the Pelfreybilt hidden hitch was designed for the stock OEM connector, which is like $250... or if you've had any luck improvising with another connector? Thanks!

Answered my own question. Here yah go, just ordered a new factory tow harness w/connector ($180 from TRDshop.com).

    82169-04010 Wire Frame No.3

I'll report back if it all works. Here is a picture for your thoughts.
