A lot goes beyond what the vehicle is rated for. You need to remember that they test stuff on flat ground doing 55mph. Think about the terrain you are driving through. Different things like: boats, enclosed trailers, cars on open trailers, or equipment of some sort will all tow differently with winds being a factor. If you plan on pushing the limits of the factory tow system I would highly recommend getting a brake controller and load leveling system for your hitch.
Factory rating is 6500lbs. You also might want to look into air bags or helper springs with that much weight before you destroy your stock leafs.
