It says vehicle specific plug. I sure ope so. I don’t want to splice into wiring if I don’t have to

I would steer you away from that one. You want a proportional controller, one that calculates breaking power based on what its seeing on it's accelerometer.

Ive been running the primus iq on my small trailer, and it does an ok job. The prodigy series is what most people run.

Almost all of them have vehicle specific adapters, no splicing or guesswork required.

This would be the bare minimum setup that I would personally recommend. Again, it's what I run, and I've been happy with it for 4 years of trailering.

+1 to stepping up to a proportional controller. I have the pilot in my truck and it works, but its kinda annoying at slower speeds around town hooked up as its just a time delay to a set voltage so you end up pulling on the truck alot. Only reason im using it is it was free and i dont tow much at all a big nuf trailer where trailer brakes are necessary.

Tho i will say the fact you can mount it in any location/orientation made it nice so i could stick it vertical next to my shifter which makes it an easy reach.

This is the one I got it was highly recommended by other users. I love that its just a factory looking knob that sticks out of the dash. It has three different modes. Check it out if you are interested. BTW it COMES WITH a switch blank so you don't need to buy a second one lol.

Thank you! With the help of your photo I was able to find the correct plug. Thank God I have my entire inside torn down to bare metal, it made laying flat looking up a lot easier. I'm changing out the carpet for vinyl wanted to run everything while it was torn down.
