I am so sorry you are dealing with this. (I am in the same situation) How many times are we able to take them in?

Did they say they were going to spray the frame then?

That might be a hole in your body mount as you said. The front side of the body mount has a gap but I just checked the rear aspect of mine, like you see in your pic, and there isn’t a visible gap, you can just see the two layers come together.

Wouldn’t surprise me if you’ve had crap get blasted up into the body mount and rot that area over time, considering you’ve got no mud flaps.

Edit: your biggest issue from your pics is you’ve got delamination, which is only going to increase the surface area that rust can destroy.

Ok. Must be a small screen illusion on my phone. Looks cracked in the picture to me.

That's part of my worry, I know the frame might not be bad now, but it will get bad over time, and I don't have much time left on my warranty to get this frame replaced.

My frame was in great shape and the dealership said I needed a new frame because of a hole next to the drivers cat. I would go to a different dealership

My delamination looked just like yours awhile back. This a I found last month. I have an inspection in December. In think this should warrant a new frame. I will post after and let you know. What I'm saying is something is lurking under all that rust on your truck!

When I preinspected my frame I used a rubber mallet to free anything superficial. When I got to the ds body mount under the cab, after a slight tapping a 2in by 3inch section of the frame shot out like a spark.

If you use a metal hammer you can hear the soft spots. It's more of a thud sound compared to a higher pitched sound of solid metal.
Check along the bottom of the boxed section on both sides.
Once you find that soft spot, you know what to do...

You can take them in multiple times go to another dealer.
Also inspect your frame with a hammer I think most fail on the other side of your first picture so the part of the frame that is facing the drive shaft.
Mine looked solid but it wasn't.
If you search my posts I think I put them up in another thread.
