Toyota declined my frame from the recall. Pics included

I am going to see if I can get my truck into the second dealership today, the guy I talked to seemed more understanding and said I should have been pulled out on the floor to show them where my concerns are the first time I took my truck into the first dealership. Hopefully things go better.

 

sucks to see how easy these frames rust in other parts of the country!....go to another dealer and be loud and obnoxious until you get a new frame!

 

planning on it today lol. At least the guys I'm going to today seems better over the phone at least.

 

So update time

Took it to the second dealership and these guys were WAY better, took me out in the shop and were really nice and walked me thru everything. Even found out we grew up in the same area.

Crazy because right as we were almost done and them saying it's not a bad looking frame, the service tech found a bad rust spot with his hammer and it went straight thru. He said guess you get a frame after all.

 

Whew! What a relief! Best wishes to you. I will look forward to hearing how it all goes. (I sure hope my truck will get a frame eventually!)

 

Frame got Approved! just need to wait for the frame to come in.
