'93 Camry (car was given to me)

I've had these other brands as well:
    '72 Vega
    '65 Plymoth Fury III
'72 Chevy Impala - Colorado winter special
'88 Subura Justy - my wife's car when I married her

After years of driving full sized (1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks I'm now a Tacoma fan. Still not a fan of Toyota although the FJ is pretty damn cool.

Picked up my Tacoma 2 days ago, love it. Last car was a 93 Camry (119k miles). Wife drives a Scion tC. I think we will be getting another Toyota when it comes time for her next ride.

I'm a fan of reliabilaty. If U.S. automakers would build a reliable, quality vehicle that they would STAND BEHIND I would buy it. I have had 2 other 4x4 toyotas in the past all other trucks have been american. Right now I have a f350 diesel/P.O.S. , tacoma , and 4runner.

This is my second Tacoma, only because my 2006 was totaled. I am extremly pleased with my decision to buy Toyota. I will keep buying Toyota based on the workmanship, reliablility, and features. My wife and I bought a Subaru Tribeca for her, but we considered the Highlander, 4Runner and Honda Pilot. As for domestic vehicles; I cannot see myself buying one for a long, long time, if ever again. I've owned a Chevy, two Fords, and two Buicks as well as other imports, a Porsche and an Audi. My Tacoma is by far the best quality then all that I have owned.

My Tacoma is the 4th Toyota we have owned, but it's my first. My wife has had the other 3. I'm more of a Tacoma fan.

At the time I was looking for a new truck, I was also considering the Dodge Dakota. I had a Dakota back in the 90's and really liked it.

I like th Tacoma much better, but my son sells Dodge/Jeep, so it was all about the numbers...... He gets a "Freinds and Family" discount, so we had to explore all options. In the end, even with the employee discount, I got the Tacoma for $3,500 less. :D

i'm a toyota fan for sure. if i couldn't get a tacoma i would just buy a standard DX toyota truck, if that wasn't available i would get a horse.

i've had enough toyotas and never any major problems with any of them. it's my brand for life. i tried a couple of VW's but they are shit. 03 Jetta was ok but 04 passat turbo was a peice of shit.

    +1

I had a couple of Honda's, but the dealership was sold to a greedhead who refused to honor the lifetime oil change contract I had. Too bad.

Went to Toyota. My Camry LE may be plain and boring, but after 94,000 trouble free miles, I can forgive that. Love my Tacoma, does what I ask with zero problems.

I plan to covert the rest of the fleet to Toyota when my wife's Aveo gives up the ghost, but she likes it and it has been a very trouble free car for 5 years, so I can't convince her to trade it in on a new Yaris.

I'm a Toyota fan and will stay one, I've owned a couple Honda Prelude Si's they handled real well and I sold them both with well over a 100K miles on them.

My Toyota break down over the years:
1986 Toyota 4x4 extra cab truck.....had it about 150K miles
1995 Tacoma 4x4 extra cab truck......had it for 146K miles
    1998 4Runner SR5 4x4.......still have it, it has 170K miles
    2008 Tacoma SR5 4x4 Access cab......of course still have it.......9100 miles

I did own a Kia Sportage 4x4 for about 2 years. Bought it when they first came out in 1997, biggest piece of shit I ever owned. Couldn't wait to get rid of it. Almost embarassed that I told anybody this!
