My friend has a 1993 Toyota truck and he does a lot of orr roading. The other day he sucked water into his motor and it cut off. he wanted to flush it out on the stop and try to drive it home. I told him that was a very bad and stupid idea, so we caled my dad who has a roll back to tow it. We got it flushed out and it will run but only for about a minute or so and it cuts off. Whats going on with it? its a 4-cylinder 22Re

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
How did he "flush" it out?

Take the air filter out to see if it will stay running longer than a minute.

I hope your friend didn't try to start it after it cut off? BAD IDEA...

Did you pull all the plugs and spray WD-40 in the holes and crank it over to get the water out?

Pull the air filter....clean out the intake, etc?
