I had my lift installed at American Cycle on park st. in Peekskill. Dave is awsome. I had an Eibach lift installed along with new tires, i had SCS wheels, truck rides great.

Along these lines, anyone had an exhaust reroute done? Looking for a shop in the greater Hudson Valley area.

Other than time to do it, I'm surprised your not doing it your self.

Hey JDUB, where about in Newburgh are you?! I’ve lived there for most of my life and only recently moved to the other side of the river!

Exhaust bending can be it’s own thing. I’d be game for trying it myself but I need a point of reference. Only ever welded motorcycle headers and mufflers.

I lived one minute up the road on Brookside Ave! My girlfriends father owned the the lot that tico taco and the detail shop are on. He actually owned that detail shop before renting it out and later selling it. If you ever need your truck detailed the guy Alex does a great job!

Look up Lanks in Beacon. They did an exhaust on my Audi eons ago when I lived in Mahopac. Quality shop and it looks like they are still working.

No more Baja. If anyone wants a 200k mile Baja with blown out shocks and in need of tires, brakes, water pump, AC condenser, secondary air pump and an airbag sensor hit up Newburgh Toyota.

New rig is a manual that I always wish my 2012 had and mods are already on the way. Sliders are on order. Tires, lift in the fall.

    Who’s registered/licensed a trailer in NY?
Looking at buying a small camp trailer and I’ve heard NY is expensive to have trailers (seeing a lot of VT registered trailers being pulled by NY registered trucks)
To my knowledge, they need a title, registration (~$14 for what I’m seeing one the DMV site), and a yearly safety inspection

looks like yearly about $40. What am I missing as to why everyone seems to register their trailers in VT?

The safety inspection is more of a guideline than an actual rule. If your trailer is in good shape no one checks for it. Just register / license it and enjoy it.

That makes sense considering the DMV site states the inspection sticker should be kept in the tow vehicle and not applied to the trailer
Pretty easy to not have the tag with you if you switch vehicles, let someone borrow it, etc

The only time it might bite us is if an axle falls off or something stupid like that.:bananadead:

Hey I'm new here. Even though I don't "live" in NY anymore, I'm a full-time student in Rochester NY. I lived for most of my life, before moving to PA almost two years ago, in Athens NY. I saw that you guys are having a meet up and was wondering, what the date was for it. Even though the drive to Leeds is almost 4.5 hours, I'd love to get back to my old stomping grounds and get to hang out with other taco owners.
