Looks like KO2 are pretty darn heavy too. Maybe I'll just roll with the DuraTracs, as they're still my favorite look and the C-rating is a pretty lightweight tire.

In what size? My C-load KO2's are 45ish lbs which is pretty light. C-load NRG's have a really deep tread depth in 265/70/r17 so I can justify the added weight I suppose. You're not going to find very many real A/T tires below the C-Load KO2 weight unless they're smaller, like stock sized tires.

Are they.. Yeah, I'm pretty set between the KO2 or DuraTracs right now. I'd love some NRG but they're a bit pricey, too.

So, @StealthMedia since you've had both the KO2 and the NRG which do you prefer... I think I've singled it down to those 2.

And I really, really need new tires. Started making funny noises this week.

I still haven't put the Ridge Grapplers on yet so I can't say for sure. They definitely look cool sitting in my uncle's garage lol

I work every day and haven't had the time yet. Have you had KO2's before?

Has them mounted today. Went with the sharper sidewalk out instead of the squared sidewall

I am also stuck between Duratracs and ridge grapplers too. I’m leaning towards Duratracs but am slightly concerned about noise. I had a v-10 excursion with a magna flow exhaust and toyo open country on it. That truck was pretty loud and didn’t bother me at all. How loud are the Duratracs really? I’m usually alone and enjoy the radio. I do a couple of road trips for hunting, other than that the Tacoma is my DD but I do use it off-road for hunting and fishing. I’m also in the Midwest so snow is a thing.

I put on 265/70R17 Toyo R/T last spring, It's a daily driver that gets muddy on weekend.
Quiet on the highway, and grippy in the dirt. I went E because we tow and they are great with the trailer hooked up.
The weight is a drawback, but they run fine and the trade off is worth it to me. Next set I'd probably back off to the ATIII.
