Does anyone else feel like Toyota is the Apple of the auto industry?

They don't seem to be the innovative leader when it comes to in vehicle tech and features. However their design styling most of the time feels highly refined and very consumer oriented.

Just my thoughts, chime in with yours

I think Apple is the 'Toyota' of the consumer electonics industry

If you mean they release new products with all kinds of glitches, then yeah, Toyota is like Apple.

I've done a mod or two
I don't think so, my Toyota is a workhorse and allows me a lot of freedom. Can't say that about any Apple product I've ever owned.
