TPMS light issues

    Can anyone tell me what I need to do , I have a 2008 and sold the 17" wheels and purchased the black baja which are 16" wheels. The 16's are Toyota wheels which still have the tires that came on it, including the TPMS. After swapping wheels , I have driven about 100 + or - miles, and now my dash light started blinking and has come on. Why is this on with TPMS on the wheels , 17" going to 16" ? And yes , the first thing that I did was check for a low tire. I hate to see a light on , when my truck only has 20,000 miles

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    The TPMS ECU will need reprogrammed by the dealership. The ECU is programmed using the serial number off of each TPM sensor.

    Blinking then solid means it finally realized that it lost the sensors it was used to. If your new rims have TPMS you have to get a dealer or a tire place to reprogram your TPMS ecu in the truck to recognize the new sensors.
