I just put some after market wheels in with out my TPMS . I had to order after market TPMS so they would fit. So I have been riding around for a couple day and the TPMS light has been on. Now all of a sudden the light is off and been off for a day. Why???

I know there are no TPMS installed. It's driving me nuts. Because if I don't need these sensors then I'll send back.

    Thanks for help!

Did park in close vicinity to your original wheels? Maybe your computer got a reading from them to clear the light. You have to drive for some distance before the light will turn on and indicate a fault.

I searched for a way to disable the TPMS on my 2011. I didn't want to mess with the wiring, but I did find this on another site. I used a 3" piece of SCH.40 PVC, two caps, drilled a hole in one cap and installed a valve stem, taped the TPMS valve stems together so they wouldn't rattle around, put them inside, glued the caps on, let it sit overnight, put 30 psi
in it, sprayed some plasti-dip on it, put it in one of the storage holes in the bed of my truck, no more stupid light!!! Now when I put on my other tire and rim combo's the computer doesn't know the difference. Here is a link to some pics. http://s1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff461/rpking1/TPMS pressure tank/

I haven't had a bit of trouble from it, I haven't had to add air to it.
I kind of forgot it was in the back of my truck.

Make sure it stays out of sight. Could easily be mistaken for a pipe bomb these days.

Just pull the cluster out, take it apart and lift up the thin screen with and knife. Once you lift it up slightly put a piece of electrical over the light and reassemble! Boom light is gone for about .02 and a bit of time.
