If you don't have the ID codes for the new sensors, they can be read with a handheld trigger tool which any tire shop should have. You point the tool at the valve stem and push a button. Tool displays the sensor ID number, tire pressure and the "health" of the battery in the sensor.

This is the code that has to be entered into the ECU.

Hey. It's been over a year. Have you figured this out? I'm having the same issue. Had a sensor replaced at Toyota and ever since I'm having the exact same issue. The only thing that fixes it temporarily is writing the tire position in the techstream software. But once you press the TPMS reset button its the same issue .

Interesting. On tech stream all my sensors read and show pressure and temperature. But where it shows tire position it says "learning...". In tech stream you are able to program the sensor to a certain side which displays the psi on the dash. The TPMS module is in the roof of these trucks and according to the high and low can bus is operating normally. The sensors have orientation sensors in them separate from psi and temp readings. If that part goes bad in one all the tires don't display. But the TPMS module doesn't have or throw a code for this. One of your sensors must be bad. Luckily for me I know the only one that's been touched so I will make them replace that one .

And the 4260706030 sensor is the only one with the orientation portion the sensor ending ins 020 for the steel wheels doesn't. So if they installed that one it's no good.

My reset function has never worked. However . . . I have the Steel sensors in my alloy wheels. They will work when programed into TechStream. After a rotation, no corner read-outs. The yellow dash light is off.

I'm doing new tires next week and replacing the sensors with the OEM correct ones. DT says they can program them. We'll see. I am going to specify which sensor is in which position in case I need to take it to the dealer to have them done.

    Will report back

Yes the steel sensors that end in 020 do not have the tire orientation portion in them you need the alloy 4260706030 sensors .

Wow, this is the first I've heard of this! Sounds like I just need to swap the steel sensors for the 4260706030 sensors.

    Thank you for the info!!!

Also, it's not just the part numbers, The different sensors have a different angle to fit the wheel.

Does anyone else find it strange that Toyota doesn't think the Steel Wheel guys don't rotate their tires?? Not sure why the position part of the sensor is not there.

Yup different angles. But they fit in a different orientation. I'm pretty sure the models that come with the steel wheels like the SR. Don't have the display where it shows you the orientation. So that's probably why.

My SR5 sure does, and it came with "Styled Steel" wheels.

New tires and new sensors. Discount Tire did the whole project, and everything works perfectly. Only about 30 miles, but really liking the Bridgestone Dueler Revo 3's. Nice ride, and a little quieter.

Nice to finally have the TPMS system working correctly after 3 1/2 years.

Ok so I've been having the same issue as everyone else on here with my tire pressures not reading at each wheel.
If I let air out of my tires or one tire the warning light will come on and when I pump it back up it will clear shortly after just no read of psi at each wheel.
I've read all the posts and researched alot of methods over the last month and tried about everything you can try.
Soooo I took it to the dealer and after getting the software update and front radar sensor recall taken care of they said bring it back tomorrow and their master technician will have to check into it and fix it.
I'll update when I get it taken care of and let you all know what the solution was.
I have stock sensors and stock wheels and my psi read fine until I tried to reset after doing a rotation.

Well stock rims and sensors but I did change tires using the same sensors and it worked fine after that.

Tires shouldn't matter. Hope they figure it out.
