TPMS Sensors...

Hey Tacomabros,

New to the Tacoma scene. Just wrote off my 1996 Hilux Surf, but I'm parting it out and keeping my wheels and tires to use on my 3rd Gen Taco DCSB OR.

The wheels I've got are 16x8 -0 American Racing AR23's to keep the JDM look. I know these wheels will fit on my Taco, however I can't seem to find the info what type of TPMS sensor to purchase and install. This is the first vehicle i've owned that has TPMS sensors, but from what I understand, they come in different angles depending on the wheels you'll be installing them on.
Can someone do my dirty work to figure which ones i'll need to pick up?

 

Think they went to a digital version on the 3rd gen Tacoma as they don't work on other Gens of Tacoma's.

I just went through this, buy the factory alloy wheel TPMS sensors. The aftermarkets don't work with the 3rd Gen. Shop online for the best deal, mine came from Lagrange Toyota . . . YMMV.
