How do you know if you have tpms installed on your truck? I own a 2007 tacoma TRD SPORT with 60000 miles and not once did the light come on. I am about to purchase tires and would like to know before the install.

You have it. All Tacomas 2006 and up have it. You also have on in the spare tire as well.

Read your owners manual. Turn your key... before getting to the start position the tpms icon should light up. You should have 5 sensors (the spare has one too.) The tpms valve stems are metal...
