I have a new 08 DC short bed with the stock tires (I think they are Dunlop). It doesn't seem to want to track very straight down the road, seems twitchy or overly sensitive. Is this normal for this vehicle? I have seen tires that will cause this, but they are usually cheaper, unknown brand tires. This is my first truck.

The Dunlops are junk tires, most of us got rid of AT 20's asap, but with that said, your truck should track just fine, it sounds like it's the road surface, try driving on many different surfaces, and being that this is your first truck, getting to know it will take a while, the improvements to the Toyotas are pretty incredible in the handling dept. Good luck !

    getting there....
try playing with different psi's in your tires and see if that helps. if not, maybe an alignment is in order....even with a new truck, alignment may be off a bit. i know it sure was on my truck!!
