They are 100 bucks for 2. What brand are you considering?

Oh I thought they were $100 for 1. I did not know they were sold in pairs. That makes it much more easy. Thanks a bunch.

60$ for a set of boards, quality frels great and they held up to the abuse we put them through that day.

I think those are the Shittybilt.

Don't cheap out when it comes to recovery gear. It could mean the difference between making it out safe and being stuck alone for a few days.

That said, I have 4 Maxtrax. Proven time and time again and I have never seen a Maxtrax break or crack.

2.5 inch lift; 5100's front; OME rear; Air Lift; dual batteries; Bestop bed cover; Nfab nerf steps; EBC rotors; Threadwright Claw MT tires; hood scoop LED light install.
I got air down valves before I got boards, and would recommend that progression. I bet that 1st gen Taco in the pic above would have got out of that sand trap by air downing, without use of any boards. You would also need an air pump to air back up.

Yes. I have seen my friends used more than once. They are a decent traction board.

It's a valve that you can adjust to desired pressure and walk away to prep something else
