Deflators range in price, but do not have to cost the bank. I use these and they work great:
    https://www.amazon.com/EZdeflator-D...F8&qid=1542717330&sr=1-3&keywords=ez+deflator

They are solid brass and come in a nice foam lined tin.

Some users complain that these can stick, but the reason is simple. Take them apart and polish the bore and the edges of the pistons. Then reassemble with a light lube. They work as well as the Staun valves at a fraction of the cost. They are cheap enough that I have two sets for different preset pressures. I have one set calibrated at 18 pounds for general trail use and one calibrated at 10.

As for traction boards, the only place I would possibly use them is in sand. You notice that the ads never show any other use??? In snow I use chains. There is no way I would use traction boards in mud, and have to dig that mess out and pack it home. In the woods I just find branches and rocks. They work just as well and you can leave them. I do have a set of HD waffle boards that have many uses including as bridging ladders. They are worth the space to carry them on serious back country outings.

Your location says "recalculating", but its november and your profile says you have weathertech mats. If you're aiming for use in the SNOW, don't. They won't help with snow. For snow, what you would want is a shovel and a bag of sand.

A milk crate with a few pieces of broken cinder block. The original redneck traction board. Replace your divots.

When I fished the beaches of Long Island surf casting, I used it to deflate 2 tires at once and inflate 2 tires at once. It saved time. It's been through a number of permutations since I first made it in the 80's.

I bought the Griffin ones on Amazon. $23 and it also came with a guage, tread depth measurer, 4 valve caps, and a little case.

I bought them to save me from having to kneel by every tire for a few minutes. When you air up and down multiple times in a weekend for surf fishing trips, these little guys are one of my favorite purchases.

I also have the MAXSA boards off Amazon but never used them for recovery. I have used them to help level my truck when deploying my RTT.

Not aiming for use in snow. I know about the shovel and I thought it was kitty litter. What does sand do?

I hope you're just trying to be funny.
Kitty litter is nothing but *expensive sand* with some baking soda mixed in to reduce the STENCH OF CAT SHIT.
Much smarter to buy 50 pound bags for $3 from the lumber yard.
A dozen bags cost you $36 and yields 600 pounds of weight=traction, and can be spread on ice to gain even MORE traction when you're good and stuck.

DO NOT USE KITTY LITTER. Most types of it has clay, and that makes the situation 10x worse.

Traction boards work great in snow, I have used them several times. They are for traction what makes someone think they wont work in snow?

I have seen the smitty built ones just crumple in -30C but hard to blame them. That is some intense weather to be using plastic for traction.

You shouldn't be out when it's -30C outside anyway.

It was -40C for the entire week before we went snow wheeling in -30C!

    Last winter was intense.

They're made of plastic. You can't grip on that when its wet and icy. If you want traction in a BOARD FORM, get yourself a piece of 3/4 inch plywood and drive a hundred 1" hex head screws into it. Pointy side goes DOWN, head goes to TIRE.

Again, they work great in snow. I have used them personally in snow.

Have you tried them yourself, in this situation?
