What kind of tractor do you have and what do you do with it?

We have 5 at the moment. A Ford 4630, two IH 140's, an IH Cub, and a 1949 J.D. A.

I like tinkering with them, gardening, and planting a food plot for the deer.

I buy and sell some when I can find a deal which is where the current IH Cub project came from a few weeks ago, the last picture.

0FAF5C50-02F6-4AC5-8977-5BED6B6D779E.jpg Ford 1920 here, used primarily for cleaning up a mess of a farm left for me by my forefathers. Generally, gathering scrap metal from hedge rows, hauling old cars out of ravines, clearing pasture and beating back the fringes on our productive fields. The barn it was living in collapsed last year so it currently resides under a tarp, spring project is to throw up a hoop-house frame for it.

Our garden isn't that big and we wind up giving a lot of veggies away but we enjoy it.

Did you convert the front hubs to 8 lug or was it made that way? Also does it have power steering?

My brother had a Ford 801 diesel with a loader and power steering.

The front was already converted to 8 lug when I got it. PO had 16.5s on it, but I got 16s for it on friday.
No power steering on this one, maybe some day. I am going to put a new upper bushing on the steering shaft and add a suicide knob then get use to brake steering.

Only have a bushhog for the Ford which is 3 pt hitch. Both of our 140’s have the one point hitch on them. I’m trying to buy a bushhog for one from a friend but he’s not ready to part with it yet.

The battery box on this recent Cub needed a bottom so I made one.

Awesome collection! I had a J.D. H once, restored it over 10 years. Eventually traded it for a W111 power unit then traded it for a 730 diesel then sold it.

It was nice, power steering, 3 point hitch, fenders, almost new rear tires. We carried it to a show and the power steering quit working. Something in the governor that turns the fan shaft broke, I sold it that way and the guy had to pull the pony motor and a lot of other stuff to fix it.

Love those round spokes! I had a 1936 AR John Deere several years ago that I restored. It came out with factory rubber and round spokes.
