My wife would love a jeep like that. Too bad I don't have the cash to buy it for her.

Your right it has barely ever been off road. Only for in and out of a hunting spot or two...

That's a good looking Rubi but you will probably have more luck selling it on a Jeep forum or CL then coming back here and buy one from a TW member. IMO, TJ's are a fun summer or off road vehicle but for a DD, it will not even compare close to a Tacoma for comfort. The Jeep is noisy even with hardtop/full doors, rougher ride(worse with mediocre lift kits/shocks), towing capacity of less than 2K lbs, no cargo room and back seat will not seat avg size adults comfortably. They are also prone to quirky electrical issues and sometimes the dreaded 'death wobble'. At least parts are cheap and vastly available and it's one of the easiest vehicle to work on.(Can do your own alignment in 30 mins.) Good luck in your quest for the Tacoma and hopefully we can soon tell you "welcome to TW".

Not to be critical, but if it is a 2004 Wrangler with a six cylinder engine it is a 4.0 I6, not V6.

And those I6's jeep made are nearly indestructible. When something goes wrong a 10 year old could fix them with google and lunch money.

    Nice truck

OP This thing should no problem getting some attention on craigslist. 4.0 I6 is indestructible. I love jeeps but after owning 2 lifted cherokees (xj) I couldn't do the daily driving with them anymore (80 mile commute @ 8-10mpg). It also wasnt a good vehicle to pick your boss up in for a meeting when theres mud falling out from everywhere :D  . Cant wait to be in a position where i can have my taco and a wrangler for the weekend.

Good luck with the sale

Yep, you'd have to try pretty hard to take one of them past the point of repair. My brother has one, and he is worse then a chick when it comes to vehicle maintenance. All he has ever done is oil and air filter changes. With those sometimes being 6 months apart. He's had it for about 10-12 years, and running strong. Only issue he had was from the coolant being so nasty a hole formed in the water pump and he had to get that fixed. Sounds like he has an exhaust leak as well, but he doesn't seem to mind since it's been going on for about a year or two now.

Exhaust manifold is probably cracked. Common problem.
I've worked for a Dodge Ram Chrysler dealer in parts for over 12yrs and I get hell for driving Toyota's all the time. Don't get me wrong, it would be a whole lot easier for me to get parts but I just don't like the ride of the Jeeps. I've seen one to many flip. It will sell pretty quick. They hold they're value and unlike most vehicles you can actually get more money with mods.
