    I know this is a long shot but just wondering of theres any one that would want to trade their 5 lug truck for a prerunner. 2000 tacoma V6 203,000 miles runs great. Prefer V6 auto 5 lug but im pretty shre those are not too common. It’s on the black wheels now. Houston tx

    @BartMaster1234 has a 5-lug V6, but it's a stick shift and has over 450,000 miles!

    That’s a first. I’ve never met someone who wants to go from a 6-Lug to a 5-Lug. May I ask why you want to do this?

    I have a 1998 SR5 v6 5-Lug. 5VZ 3.4l v6 with the R150 5 Speed Manual. Has almost 450k on it.

    Of course I’ve probably driven it 3 or 4 miles. I bought it intending to restore it.

    I want a 5 lug truck to lower a little bit and make a street truck. lowering a prerunner is pretty difficult and will end up the height of a stock 5 lug.

    You won’t have an issue trading that truck for a 5-Lug. People usually hope to do it the other way around since you can convert PreRunners into 4x4’s very easily like I did and raise the value.

    I've got a 1997 5-lug I was going to try to sell in a minute. It's the 2rz engine mated to a 5-speed though. Like you said, V6 auto 5-lugs are a rare bird if they exist at all. How many miles are on that Prerunner?

    Also, I recently bought a 3.4L and it's a dog. 14-16mpg depending on the weather and my little 4-banger in that '97 will smoke it off the line any day while still averaging 24-25mpg.
