    I’ve added a Snomaster 56D fridge & freezer to a platform I installed behind the driver’s seat. It was just a little too tall for the platform in the topper, but I actually like it where it is. And cold beer and popcicles in the desert is AWESOME!!

    Got a quote from Maria, gonna pull the trigger here soon I think. Waiting for a few more $$ to trickle in. I trying to decide on a roof vent. Does that top panel pop open when you use the vent or does it the same height? I'd like to put something like a frontrunner or Ezi-awn K9 rack on top but I think that won't allow roof vents function. @Toynado

    I had one of these toppers on my Tundra and loved it. Got looks and likes everywhere I went. Mine had Hummer style rear doors and side doors with windows that opened. I camped in many conditions and mine didn't have a vent and the windows and side opening doors provided perfect air.

    The top panel does open up when you crank open the vent. I highly recommend the van if you are planning to sleep back there as it really cools it off on hot days. With the side windows open the air comes in and goes out the vent

    How tall is it from the bed rail to the top? ARE offers a 23" 26" and 29". Trying to figure which is closest to your setup. I have a front runner rack and it looks like it is 26" to the top of the rack. Thanks ahead of time.

    Roughly 26”. But my ‘16 bee is an inch taller than your ‘15 so the height over the cab would be different

    I believe so. I never measured a 2nd gen but I have heard it is an inch shorter.

    Im also thinking of getting almost the same configuration. Do you find the insulation and interior skin to be helpful during hot and cold periods? Or more just for sound? Thanks

    Went out a couple weeks ago and my friends in RTTs were cold and I was sleeping soundly so yeah I like the insulation. The vent is key when it’s hot and I had it slightly cracked this last time to prevent condensation

    I stumbled across this the other day, looking for a replacement for my Wildernest. Love my 'Nest, but it isn;t the greatest in the wind and the wet.

    Thinking a cab over with a poptop. High enough you can sit up in it when closed, and open it for standing.
