i currently have a 2010 dbl cab Prerunner and I want to upgrade to a 4x4 but I am not sure if it is worth waiting and getting a gen3 or just to get a 2015. I like the multi terrain select on the new gen3 and I am not sure about that motor yet. What do you guys think?

This there will be little nuisances, its gonna be a good price increase (+$3k for TRD packages from current). The outgoing gen has been proven dependable and reliable with a few leaf issues and frame issues that Toyota is addressing or has post 2010. Im willing to bet based on pictures a 2015 and 2016 frame are very similar. Lots of mods and wealth of knowledge on current gen as well, and hate to say this but do you really like that front end, its pretty fugly. I will admit crawl control is cool, but does it warrant the price and necessity?

The black door pillars the out of place fender flares and that front end, the rear looks good tho and the interior but not $3k plus. Its like Toyota got caught off guard with the GM twins and mashed the new truck together.

Better than the new runners tho......... Those weird lines in the bumper that go top to bottom make it look like a crying clown.......or how a pug/poodle gets the dark discoloration near its mouth

I don't think the 3rd gen is going to be 3k more than the current. Where did you get that info?

You sir are wrong. See for yourself. From a previous thread. Current Sport 4WD LB is 33k, pricing sheet shows same model (yes has more features now) at $36k. ($3k increase). Toyota is pricing similar/slightly higher to GM twins.

First of all those numbers where from a meeting held by Sales team, they are still not written in stone same as the HP And TQ and second of all. I don't see anywhere in that quote that you have that the $33k for that truck is for a TRD model. People stop guessing and just wait for the damn truck to come out. Is it going go be more expensive ? of course! is it going to be 3k more?, no way of knowing until the truck and the numbers are finalized.

The quote says sport suspension in it exercise some common sense. And that document is official Toyota document from Toyota headquarters look at the headers and footers not one random dealer generated document. But wishful think all you want. I'll bet you my 2015 those are the prices.
